The Tucson Police Department is responding to reports of a shooting on the southside of Tucson.
According to TPD, officers responded to the 5600 block of E. 26th Street around 4:15 p.m. after reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, Tucson Police found a man at the scene who was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
TPD said one person was detained nearby.
The investigation is ongoing.
