A senior at Garrett High School, and formerly a student at Eastside High School, Ethan was more than just a student — he was a source of inspiration and light to everyone who knew him.
Ethan had a remarkable ability to connect with others. His presence in the classroom, gym, and community left a lasting impact on those around him. He was known for his compassion, loyalty, and quiet strength — qualities that built friendships like family bonds. He truly embodied brotherhood, making everyone feel valued and seen.
Faith played a meaningful role in Ethan’s life. He was baptized and attended Corunna United Brethren in Christ Church, where his kind spirit and genuine care for others were deeply admired.
Beyond faith and friendship, Ethan’s passion for boxing, wrestling, and fitness reflected his determination to always push himself to new heights. His love for sports wasn’t about competition alone — it was about discipline, perseverance, and self-improvement.
As a talented wrestler, Ethan competed with heart and integrity. His focus and fierce determination made him a formidable athlete, yet he never lost sight of humility and respect. Win or lose, he was known for his sportsmanship and grace. His peers recall his quick wit, contagious laughter, and the way he could lift spirits even during difficult times.
Ethan cared deeply about those he loved. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and his strength came from the pride he took in who he was and what he stood for. He was driven, grounded, and motivated by purpose — a young man who lived life with courage, faith, and heart.
Ethan is survived by his father, Shane Fike of Butler; his sisters, Athena (fiancé Brady Long) Fike and Addison Fike, both of Butler; paternal grandparents, Donald (Brenda) Fike and Theresa Shisler; maternal grandparents, David and Patricia Maberson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Amanda Fike, who passed away on October 10, 2021.
