Birmingham Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Friday morning near Sutton Coldfield.
The incident took place around 7:30 a.m. near The Lanes Shopping Centre on Birmingham Road in Wylde Green. Authorities confirmed that a man was shot at the scene, and emergency services quickly responded.
Police have cordoned off the area while investigations are underway, and motorists are being advised to avoid Birmingham Road and surrounding routes as officers continue their inquiries.
No arrests have been reported so far, and the victim’s condition has not yet been disclosed.
