It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jasen William Burton, a devoted husband, loving father, hardworking provider, and faithful man of God. On October 20, Jasen tragically and unexpectedly lost his life in a car accident. His passing has left an enormous void in the lives of his family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jasen was the kind of person who gave everything for the people he loved. He shared a strong and joyful marriage with his wife, Shanya, built on faith, loyalty, and deep affection. Together, they raised a beautiful family—Julia, Joven, Josie, Jacqueline, Jessalyn, and Boman—with a foundation of love, adventure, and unwavering commitment to God.
Jasen had a quiet strength and a humble heart. He worked hard to provide a good life for his family, taking pride in his role as a Machine Repair Technician and Engineering Intern at John Deere. His work ethic, dedication, and determination were an inspiration to all who knew him. He never sought recognition—he simply gave his best, every single day, for the people he loved most.
Outside of work, Jasen found joy in life’s simple pleasures—camping, fishing, traveling, attending baseball games, and concerts. Wherever he was, he made it better with his presence—steady, kind, and full of heart.
Now, as Shanya and their children face the unimaginable, they are also experiencing unexpected financial burdens due to this tragic loss. Funeral expenses, household bills, and the cost of caring for a family have added to their grief.
Jasen’s life was a gift to all who knew him. His legacy of faith, love, and selfless devotion will live on through his family, and in the hearts of all who remember him.
