The AMBER Alert was issued just before 5 p.m. for the missing child, who was reportedly dropped off with family members. Police confirmed the child is unharmed.

Authorities have warned residents in Fort Erie to shelter in place, particularly near Prospect Point and Ridgeway Road, as the suspect is believed to be in the area. Niagara Regional Police advise all residents to lock windows and doors and not open doors to unknown individuals.

Suspect Information:

Name: Anthony Deschepper
