Celebrating the Life and Faith of Janice Posey
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23
On Thursday, July 10th, our beloved mother-in-law, Janice Posey, peacefully passed into the arms of her Savior. Her departure has left a deep void in our hearts, but we take comfort in knowing that her suffering has come to an end and that she is now surrounded by perfect peace, embraced by the eternal love of Christ.
Janice lived her life with quiet strength, compassion, and a steadfast faith in Jesus that never wavered—even in the face of adversity. Her gentle spirit and servant’s heart made her a source of comfort, wisdom, and encouragement to everyone who knew her. Whether through a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or simply the gift of her presence, she radiated God’s love in both word and deed.
Though we will miss her dearly—her laughter, her wisdom, her prayers—we are filled with gratitude for the time we shared with her. Her life was a testimony of grace and perseverance, and her faith has left an enduring legacy. She has now received the ultimate healing, and we rejoice in the knowledge that she is at rest in the presence of her Lord, free from pain and surrounded by heavenly joy.
Janice’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by her love and faith. As we grieve her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the eternal home she has now entered.
A memorial service will be held this Sunday at 5:00 PM at Northside Baptist Church to celebrate her life and the lasting impact she made on those around her. Reflection will be handling the service.
