In Loving Memory of Victory Lewis Mason

It is with great sadness that we share the tragic passing of 26-year-old Victory Lewis Mason, who lost his life in a fatal crash early Sunday morning, October 19, 2025, in Effingham County.

According to the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office, Mason was driving a Ford Mustang eastbound on Kolic Helmey Road shortly after midnight when he failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle left the roadway and crashed into several buildings in a nearby residential area.

Authorities say Mason was ejected from the vehicle upon impact and tragically died at the scene. Investigators believe that speed and alcohol may have been contributing factors in the crash.

Victory, a resident of Port Wentworth, is being remembered by family and friends as a bright, kind, and caring soul whose presence brought light to those around him. His sudden passing has left a deep sense of loss in the hearts of loved ones and the community who knew him.

Those closest to Victory describe him as someone full of energy and laughter — a person who loved life and cherished the people in it. His memory will live on through the stories, love, and impact he left behind.
