It is with deep sadness that we remember and honor the life of Justin Rodgerson of Hermon, Maine — a devoted husband, loving father, cherished friend, and gifted athlete. Born and raised in Winterport and a proud graduate of Hampden Academy, Justin carried with him a sense of pride, humility, and unwavering dedication in everything he did, both on and off the field.
Justin was more than an incredible athlete — he was the heartbeat of every team he was part of. Whether it was through his undeniable talent or his ability to lift the spirits of those around him with just a smile or a few encouraging words, Justin brought energy, strength, and passion into every game and every locker room. He played with heart, grit, and joy — traits that earned him not only accolades but lifelong friendships.
But even more than his achievements in sports, Justin will be remembered as a man of character. He had a gift for making people feel seen, valued, and loved. His hugs were genuine and warm, his laughter contagious, and his loyalty to friends and family never in question. He was the kind of man who showed up — not just when it was convenient, but especially when it mattered most.
As a husband to Kristen, Justin was endlessly devoted, and their bond was a beautiful example of partnership and love. As a father, he was patient, present, and full of pride — always striving to lead by example and to give his family the very best of himself. His love for them was evident in everything he did.
To know Justin was to love him — and to be changed by him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and integrity that will live on in the lives of all who knew him. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit — so full of light, laughter, and love — remains.
We will miss you deeply, Justin. Thank you for the memories, the lessons, the love, and the joy you brought into our lives. Rest easy, dear friend, husband, father, and teammate. You will be remembered always — forever in our hearts.
