Investigators say a Nissan Altima, driven by 18-year-old Asa Howard of Edmonton, was traveling north on North Jackson Highway when it passed through the intersection and collided with a Toyota Highlander, driven by Timothy Houchens of Glasgow, who was traveling east on Veterans Outer Loop.

Howard and his passenger, 18-year-old Caden French of Glasgow, were taken by Barren-Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Hospital and later airlifted to a regional medical center due to the severity of their injuries. 21-year-old Jabari Sweat, also from Glasgow, was hospitalized and later released.

Tragically, three passengers in Howard’s vehicle did not survive. 18-year-old Emily Corbin of Hart County was pronounced dead at the scene. A 14-year-old from Bowling Green and a 17-year-old from Edmonton also died from their injuries. Their names have not yet been released by authorities.

Houchens and a passenger in the Highlander were also transported to T.J. Samson Hospital for treatment.

Emergency crews from multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Glasgow Fire Department, Hart County EMS, and Kentucky State Police. The crash remains under active investigation by the Glasgow Police Department Reconstruction Unit.
