SUPPORT THE FAMILY, GOD BLESS YOU

Just after midnight, dispatchers received a frantic call from a man who reported being chased and shot at by another vehicle near Lindell and Robindale roads. When officers arrived, they discovered two crashed vehicles and a woman lying in the street who appeared to have been ejected from one of the cars.

The woman, later identified as Daish Sherre, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said several individuals from both vehicles fled before officers arrived.

A man believed to have been traveling with Sherre was found nearby suffering from injuries caused by the crash. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives determined that Sherre and the male victim were driving home when a vehicle began following them. Someone inside the pursuing car opened fire, causing Sherre’s vehicle to speed away and lose control, leading to the fatal crash. The second vehicle then collided with Sherre’s car, but its occupants fled and remain at large.

Both LVMPD Homicide and Fatal Detail units are investigating the shooting and crash. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section at 702-828-3521 or email homicide@lvmpd.com. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or online.
