Steven Miles Jr Lee County, S.C Motorcycle Accident: Motorcyclist Killed in Fatal Lee County Crash on SC Highway 341

Authorities are investigating a fatal collision that claimed the life of a motorcyclist Tuesday evening in Lee County.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP), the collision occurred around 7:27 p.m. on SC Highway 341 near Muck Stuckey Road. The incident involved a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle, operated by Steven Miles Jr., and a 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck.

Investigators said the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Highway 341 when the southbound pickup truck reportedly crossed the center line, striking the motorcycle head-on.

Despite immediate emergency response efforts, Steven Miles Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The Lee County Coroner’s Office confirmed Miles’ identity on Wednesday morning.

Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to investigate the cause of the collision. At this time, no charges have been filed, and authorities have not determined whether impairment or speed played a role.

Officials remind all motorists to stay alert, avoid distractions, and exercise caution when sharing the road with motorcycles.
