RALLS COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on October 12, 2025, in Ralls County.
Authorities have identified the victim as 55-year-old Jonathan J. Floyd of Perry, Missouri. According to officials, Floyd suffered fatal gunshot wounds during the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting, citing the need to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation. Law enforcement officers remain at work gathering evidence and conducting interviews to determine what led to the tragic event.
