In Loving Memory of Brady Lafferty

It’s with deep sadness that we share the passing of 26-year-old Brady Lafferty, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle crash late Thursday night in Bureau County.

According to the Bureau County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred around 11:38 p.m. on Illinois Highway 6. Investigators said Lafferty was traveling westbound when his motorcycle left the roadway and he lost control, causing him to be thrown from the bike.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene, and Lafferty was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The Bureau County Coroner officially identified him on Friday.
