Auburn University has announced the death of Kate Bambeck, a Biomedical Sciences student.

Bambeck, originally from Powell, Ohio, was a graduate of Olentangy Liberty High School. At Auburn, she was pursuing her studies in science and healthcare and was known among classmates and professors for her dedication and kindness.
Friends and peers described her as compassionate, driven, and someone who had a positive impact on those around her.
The university community has expressed condolences to her family, friends, and fellow students. Plans for memorial services or tributes have not yet been released.
