It is with heavy hearts that we report the tragic loss of Jose Romero-Alvarez, who passed away following a fatal pedestrian crash early this morning. on October 1, 2025,
At approximately 5:45 a.m., Romero-Alvarez was struck by a 2001 Toyota Tacoma while riding his skateboard at the intersection of Merritt Blvd. and Westfield Rd. in Dundalk. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead after being transported to a nearby hospital.
The driver of the Tacoma remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities as they investigate the circumstances of this heartbreaking accident.
