An AMBER Alert has been issued after authorities say a 13-year-old girl was abducted Tuesday night in Grapevine.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the missing child has been identified as Kaylin Rickards, 13. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie over a black tank top, black sweatpants, and pink Crocs.
Officials believe she may have been taken by someone driving a white Ford F-150. The alert, issued shortly before midnight, has been broadcast statewide as police intensify their search.
Kaylin is described as a Black female, and investigators are urging the public to remain vigilant.
Authorities say anyone who spots Kaylin, the suspect, or the suspect vehicle should immediately call 911 and not approach.
The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement agencies across North Texas are assisting in the search.
