Police have charged a man with murder following the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Tyrece Balcha, from Hillingdon, after an incident outside a bar in Wembley.

Tyrece Balcha Died in Wembley Shooting, Adem Altindal Arrested For Murder
Adem Altindal, 32, of Wood Green, Haringey, was charged on Thursday, 25 September, with Tyrece’s murder. He had been arrested the previous day and is due to appear at Haringey Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 26 September.

A second man, aged 39, was also arrested on Thursday on suspicion of murder and possession of a firearm. He remains in police custody.

The investigation began when officers were called to Atlantic Crescent, Wembley, at 05:27hrs on Sunday, 21 September, following reports of a shooting outside a bar. Tyrece was found with a gunshot wound and was rushed to the hospital. Despite medical intervention, he died on Thursday, 25 September.

Family Tribute
Tyrece’s family described him as “kind, loving, funny, and hardworking,” adding:

“We are devastated… through his selfless gift as a donor, his spirit will live on.”

Police Investigation
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Clarke, who is leading the investigation, said:

“Our thoughts are with Tyrece’s loved ones. My team continue to work at pace to establish the full circumstances of this tragic death.”

Detective Chief Superintendent Luke Williams acknowledged the wider community impact:

“We recognise the concern this has caused, particularly at a busy event. Patrols in the area have been increased and a visible police presence will continue.”

Related Charges and Arrests
Two other men, Rafael Reveane Rodriguez, 39, and Dennis Gambrah, 32, were previously charged with attempted murder on Wednesday, 24 September. Both were remanded in custody after appearing in court the following day and are scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday, 23 October.

Police confirmed that a further seven individuals have been arrested during the course of the investigation on suspicion of offences including assisting an offender and firearm possession. Some remain in custody, while others have been released on bail or remain under investigation.

The investigation remains ongoing, with officers urging anyone with information to come forward.
