Nicole Ndlovu Umhle was a bright, loving, and joyful young girl whose gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone around her. Born to her devoted parents, Nkosikona (Kosi) and Sitholumusa (Hilda), Nicole was the cherished daughter of her family and the adored sister of Adriel. She was a proud pupil of Askea National School, where she was loved by her classmates and teachers alike. Nicole approached life with warmth and joy, embodying a gentle soul who cared deeply for her friends and family. She had a natural gift for making those around her feel valued, and her enthusiasm for learning and play left lasting memories in the hearts of those who knew her.
Nicole’s sudden passing on August 31, 2025, at Crumlin Children’s Hospital, Dublin, has left her family and community heartbroken. Despite her tender age, her life reflected resilience, innocence, and love—a reminder of the beauty of a child’s spirit.

Her parents, brother, extended family, friends, and school community mourn deeply, yet they also celebrate the joy she brought into their lives. Nicole will always be remembered for her radiant smile, her gentle nature, and the unconditional love she shared so freely.
Nicole’s funeral arrangements include reposing at her family home on Thursday, September 4th, followed by Funeral Mass on Friday at the Holy Family Church, Askea, and cremation at Carpenter Bros. Cremation Chapel, Shamrock Square. Family flowers only are requested, with donations in Nicole’s memory welcomed to Ronald McDonald House, Crumlin Children’s Hospital.
