Family members, through a verified GoFundMe campaign, described Norman as a hardworking, honorable man originally from North Carolina who had built a life in California. “Tony did not deserve this. He was an innocent victim, a devoted family man who lived with integrity,” they stated.

The funds raised will go toward funeral and burial expenses. The Oakland Police Department Homicide Unit is actively investigating the shooting. No suspects or further details have been released at this time.
