19-Year-Old Steffon Marmon Identified as Victim in Fatal Early-Morning Shooting in Jennings

MAN SHOT AND KILLED IN JENNINGS IDENTIFIED
19-year-old Steffon Marmon was shot and killed in the 2000 block of Switzer Avenue early Monday morning.
According to the St. Louis County Police Department, officers with the City of Jennings Precinct responded to a call for service around 2:27 a.m. When they arrived, they found Marmon suffering from gunshot wounds. He died on the scene.
Friends told The New Real STL News that Steffon had just turned 19 and was out celebrating his birthday when his life was tragically cut short.
This is still an active investigation, and police are continuing to search for a suspect. As of now, no one is in custody.
