Parkdale High School in Riverdale, Maryland, was temporarily locked down on Thursday morning after what school officials called “an isolated stabbing.” A suspect is in custody, officials said.
Prince George’s County Public Schools said in a brief statement at about 9:55 a.m. that the school was locked down and all students and staff were safe and remaining in classrooms.
A student was taken to a hospital for evaluation “and did not sustain life-threatening injuries,” the statement said.
