NSW Police responded to a serious incident at the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Bondi Junction on Tuesday afternoon, where a person was found deceased in the car park area of the complex.
Police have confirmed that the individual died as a result of a fall from the building’s car park. Emergency services attended the scene, and a police presence remained in the area as inquiries were conducted. Authorities emphasized that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The individual has not been identified, and police said next of kin will be notified. According to law enforcement, the person climbed onto the parking lot and jumped. Their body was located at the base of the parking garage. Arriving officials attempted life-saving measures, but sadly, they could not be saved. No further details have been released at this time.
