Shreveport, LA — The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) is actively searching for Evantavious Deon Williams following a tragic domestic dispute that resulted in the death of a 19-year-old woman early Saturday morning. Officers, along with the Shreveport Fire Department and emergency medical personnel, responded to the incident at a residence in the 200 block of West 69th Street, where the young woman was later transported to Ochsner LSU Health, where she was pronounced deceased.
According to SPD, patrol officers were dispatched to the home at approximately 12:02 a.m. on December 13, 2025, in response to a domestic trouble physical call. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had been involved in a domestic dispute with her boyfriend, Evantavious Deon Williams, and was found unconscious and unresponsive inside a bedroom.
Officers immediately entered the residence and began performing life-saving CPR in an effort to revive the young woman. Shreveport Fire Department medics arrived shortly thereafter and took over medical care. Due to the severity of her condition, the victim was rushed to Ochsner LSU Health in critical, life-threatening condition.
Despite the efforts of first responders and hospital staff, detectives were later informed that the 19-year-old victim had succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Her name has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
SPD Violent Crimes investigators were notified and responded to both the scene and the hospital as part of the ongoing investigation. During the initial response, officers detained a witness who told police he had observed the victim and Williams together shortly before the incident occurred. According to the witness, Williams fled the residence after family members placed the 911 call.
Police confirmed that Evantavious Deon Williams is currently being sought as a person of interest in the case. Authorities say Williams has an outstanding warrant in Caddo Parish and is also listed in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) with an entry out of Texas.
Williams was last seen shortly after midnight on December 13, 2025, leaving the area near the 200 block of West 69th Street. His current whereabouts remain unknown, and investigators are urging the public to assist in locating him.
