Second Suspect Arrested in Tulsa Homeless Camp Shooting, Police Say

TULSA, Okla. -Tulsa Police have arrested a second suspect following a shooting at a homeless encampment near downtown.
Suspects in Custody
Police initially said they were looking for two suspects in the shooting. As of Thursday night, both suspects are now in custody.

The second suspect, 27-year-old MyQuiliah Favors, was arrested Thursday near Archer and Denver. Favors faces charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of shooting with intent to kill. Favors is being held in the Tulsa County Jail on $300,000 bond.

A 17-year-old male was previously arrested in connection with the shooting. His name has not been released.

The Shooting
The incident occurred Tuesday night near the 1300 block of W. Katy Jogging Trail. Witnesses told police two people approached a tent along the Katy Trail, stole a woman’s purse, and fired multiple shots.

Two male victims were injured and taken to a hospital. Their current conditions have not been released.
