Dr. Chuang practiced family medicine in Plano and was affiliated with Medical City Plano, where he earned a reputation for excellence and heartfelt care. Known for his attentive bedside manner and genuine concern for every patient he treated, he became one of the area’s most trusted physicians. Many of his patients described him not only as highly skilled, but as someone who truly listened, supported, and advocated for them.
Born in Taiwan, Dr. Chuang moved to Texas as a teenager, carrying with him a strong work ethic, a deep sense of purpose, and gratitude for every opportunity. He earned his undergraduate degree from Baylor University before attending Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, ultimately becoming board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. His dedication to lifelong learning and professional excellence led to his involvement in organizations such as the Collin-Fannin County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the Jefferson Physician Group, and the Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA).
Dr. Chuang had the privilege of working closely with his mentor and the practice’s founder, Dr. Young, whom he admired greatly. After Dr. Young’s retirement, Dr. Chuang took on the responsibility of leading the practice — a role he approached with humility, honor, and deep commitment. He found profound meaning in helping patients with ADHD reach their full potential, offering guidance, compassion, and evidence-based care to individuals and families navigating the challenges of diagnosis and treatment.
Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Chuang was admired for his kindness, patience, and unwavering dedication to those he served. He touched countless lives, and his loss is felt deeply by the community he cared for so faithfully.
