CADDO PARISH, La. (KSLA) – A judge has ordered no bond be set for the man accused of shooting and killing a young Vivian police officer Friday evening (Nov. 18) while a warrant was being served.
Nicolas Edward Alexander, 58, is scheduled to be arraigned in court Jan. 5, 2026. He has been given a court-appointed attorney after stating he could not afford to hire one while in court Nov. 17.
On Friday evening, officers were trying to arrest Alexander, who was wanted for cyberstalking.
Officials say he’s responsible for the death of Vivian Police Officer Marc Brock, 25.
