The Palm Bay Police and Brevard County Sheriff Dispatch are responding to a domestic-related shooting in West Melbourne late Wednesday night.
According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office spokesman, various departments are hunting for a man who shot four people inside a home located in the 2000 block of Washington Street. BCSO, the fire department, and multiple ambulances were dispatched to the scene following a 911 call.
Police say a Brevard County man shot his family members before fleeing the scene. A lot of police vehicles were observed in the area of the intersection of Washington Rd. and Milwaukee Ave.
The shooting happened in the. “Possibly domestic-related. Units are still in the process of clearing the residence and gathering information,” a BCSO spokesman wrote.

According to Brevard County Scanner, a 911 caller reported that a man shot his mother after an altercation. The subject also shot his father and a neighbor whom his father had approached for assistance. BCSO says the man and his wife are dead. The third victim was transported to a hospital, where she is expected to survive.
A heavy police presence is at the National Police Foundation in West Melbourne, where officials are searching for the fleeing male suspect involved in the shooting. A source identified the suspect as Joseph Chambers.
