Detectives with the Visalia Police Department are investigating a suspected murder-suicide after officers discovered two people dead early Monday morning on the city’s east side.
Police responded at approximately 12:29 a.m. to the 2700 block of East La Vida Avenue following a report of a family disturbance. When officers arrived, they located a man and a woman deceased inside the residence.
The department’s Violent Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation and is treating the case as a suspected murder–suicide. Authorities said the investigation is active, and additional details will be released as they are confirmed.
