Gretchen Whitney High School in Cerritos was placed on lockdown Thursday after police responded to reports of a possible threat on campus.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were called to the school on Shoemaker Avenue late Thursday morning. As a precaution, the campus was placed on lockdown while officers investigated the report.
