Authorities have identified the two men who were killed after being ejected during a crash on Interstate 80 earlier this week in Monroe County.
According to Monroe County Coroner Thomas A. Yanac, Adam Lander, 25, of Cranberry, and Nathaniel Durell, 32, of Franklin, were pronounced dead at the scene following the crash on Route 80 in Tunkhannock Township on January 5.
The coroner said both men died from blunt force injuries, and their deaths have been ruled accidental.
Pennsylvania State Police reported that the vehicle left the roadway for reasons still under investigation, traveled down an embankment, and struck a tree. Both Lander and Durell were ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
The Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
