The Los Angeles County Medical Examiners’ Office has identified a teen who was shot to death on a Lancaster street as 16-year-old Xowam Flowers.
On Thursday afternoon December 25, 2025, at about 1:10 pm, the Lancaster Sheriff station received a call of shots fired in the area of 11th Street East and Angela Ct. in Lancaster.
According to a press release from the LASD Homicide Bureau:
Lancaster Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the 1000 block of E. Angela Court in Lancaster regarding a call of a shooting victim.
Upon arrival at the location deputies discovered a 16-year-old male juvenile victim at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded and rendered life saving measures to the victim now identified as Flowers, to no avail they pronounced him deceased at the scene.
A female juvenile, 17-year-old, a second male juvenile, 15-year-old, and two male adults, 19-year-old and 29-year-old, were transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
No additional information has been made available since the shooting took place.
