The Pelahatchie community is mourning the tragic loss of Kayden Haden, a 20-year-old resident who died in a motorcycle crash early Monday morning in Rankin County. Family, friends, and neighbors are left grieving the sudden and heartbreaking loss of a young life taken far too soon.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP), the fatal incident occurred at approximately 12:38 a.m. on Highway 43 near Mineral Spring Road. Kayden was riding a 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle northbound when, for reasons still under investigation, he ran off the roadway and collided with a ditch.
