Law enforcement agencies responded to reports of a shooting at the Sunvalley Shopping Center, located at 1 Sun Valley Mall in Concord, California, following what officials described as a fight involving weapons.

According to initial reports, multiple individuals were seen fleeing the mall after gunshots were allegedly heard near the mall’s entrance. A witness, who asked to remain anonymous, described the scene as chaotic and fast-moving.
The witness stated that a physical altercation involving at least five people broke out, and that some of those involved appeared to be armed. During the confrontation, a shot was reportedly fired, prompting shoppers and employees inside the mall to run for safety.
