SUPPORT THE FAMILY, GOD BLESS YOU

He was particularly known for his involvement with the Sheffield‑Sheffield Lake Youth Baseball Association, an organization he supported passionately. Joe’s devotion to family was reflected in every aspect of his life. He is survived by his wife, Annette Corrao, who stood by his side as his partner and closest companion. Joe also leaves behind his loving parents, Dena Corrao (DeAngelis) and Joseph J. Corrao, who nurtured him with unwavering support and love.

His three sisters — Diane Flock (Larry), Angela Corrao, and Janet Jasinski — remember him as a brother whose laughter and loyalty brought joy to family gatherings. Joe was also close to extended family, including in‑laws Rose (Ianni) and Dan Naelitz, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins who held a special place in his heart.

Joe’s family recalled that he carried the legacy of his grandparents with him — Angeline (Amato), Serafino DeAngelis, Anna (Mishak), and Angelo “Babe” Corrao — whose values of faith, kindness, and community shaped his outlook on life.

His connections with family and friends were strengthened by shared traditions, stories, and countless memories that will live on in those who loved him. Friends and community members will have the opportunity to honor Joe’s memory at scheduled visitation and services.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Reidy Scanlan Giovannazzo Funeral Home in Lorain. This will be followed by a prayer service on Monday, December 22 at 10:15 AM at the same location, then a Mass of Christian Burial at Church of St. Peter in Lorain.
