A road in East Ayrshire has been closed following a collision on Saturday afternoon, prompting an emergency response and traffic diversions.
Emergency services were called to the A713 between Holybush and the B730 at approximately 4.45pm. Details regarding the number of vehicles involved and whether anyone was injured have not yet been confirmed.
The road remains shut while police and other emergency crews continue to deal with the incident. Drivers are being diverted away from the area, and motorists have been advised to plan alternative routes.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “The A713 is closed between Hollybush and the B730 following a crash, which was reported around 4.45pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Emergency services are in attendance. A diversion is in place, and motorists should avoid the area.”
