Purdue Student West Lafayette, Indiana Suicide – Death: Undisclosed Body Found at Purdue University’s Horticulture Park

Purdue University police are conducting a death investigation after a woman was found deceased Wednesday afternoon in Horticulture Park, located on the western edge of the Purdue campus.

According to Purdue Police Capt. Song Kang, officers responded to the scene after receiving a report of an unresponsive individual. Upon arrival, police located the body and notified the Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office at 1:44 p.m. Capt. Kang said there is no ongoing threat to the public and that the area was secured as part of standard investigative procedures.

The Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office confirmed that the deceased was a woman in her 20s.
