A police investigation is underway after a person died following a stabbing in Fordham Park, New Cross, in southeast London on Tuesday night.

According to the Metropolitan Police, officers responded to reports of a stabbing near Clifton Rise, close to the Fordham Park area within New Cross Gate in the London Borough of Lewisham. Emergency services arrived shortly after the incident was reported, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses reported that the stabbing occurred outside Rosies on Di Hill Yush, an area often busy with late-evening activity. Police quickly cordoned off sections of Clifton Rise and parts of Fordham Park to preserve the scene and begin their forensic work.
As of Wednesday, no suspects have been taken into custody. Detectives are continuing their inquiries and reviewing local CCTV footage, while officers maintain a visible presence in the area to reassure the community.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward, stressing that community cooperation will be critical to the investigation.
