The legal community in Southern California is mourning the unexpected passing of Jade Kouretchian, a San Diego–based law clerk whose promising career and dedication to the field left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside her. She passed away sadly last weekend. She was a resident of Beverly Hills, California.
Kouretchian was a former J.D. Candidate at the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was known for her intellect, drive, and commitment to justice. During her time in law school, she immersed herself in hands-on legal work, supporting clients and attorneys with diligence far beyond her years of experience.
Most recently, Kouretchian served as a Fall Law Clerk at Hoffman & Forde, Attorneys at Law, A.P.C. Her colleagues there described her as bright, warm, and exceptionally hardworking—someone who approached every task with professionalism and genuine care for the people she served.
Before joining Hoffman & Forde, she spent the summer working as a Summer Law Clerk at Klinedinst PC, one of San Diego’s prominent litigation and business law firms. Her work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn made an immediate impact on the attorneys who had the opportunity to mentor her.
Friends, classmates, and colleagues across San Diego and Beverly Hills have expressed deep sorrow at the loss. Many remembered her as a thoughtful friend, a dedicated student, and a rising legal professional whose future held immense promise.
