LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A man has been arrested for a shooting in the Russell neighborhood in October.
On Oct. 21, a man was shot in the thigh on West Chestnut Street and was taken to UofL Hospital. A week later, LMPD released a surveillance photo showing a person of interest in the case.
On Nov. 26, LMPD said it had arrested 36-year-old Jarrett Dennis in connection to the shooting and charged him with second degree assault. The arrest report cited the use of security video in identifying Dennis.

Officers also recovered five guns from Dennis’ home during a search warrant and LMPD said one of the guns matched a casing found at the scene.
Dennis is scheduled to be in court Wednesday morning.
