Maxwell Heights Fatal Stabbing: Two Teens Injured Near Maxwell Heights Secondary School in Oshawa, Ont.

Police are urging residents to avoid the area of Harmony Road North and Coldstream Drive after a violent incident left two youths suffering from stab wounds on Thursday. A significant police presence is currently in place as officers investigate.

According to early information from law enforcement, the first victim has been transported to a Toronto-area trauma center with serious injuries. The second youth’s condition has not yet been released.

In response to the nearby incident, Maxwell Heights Secondary School has been placed under a Hold and Secure, a precautionary measure that keeps students and staff safely inside the building while police manage the situation outside. Officials emphasize that the school itself is not directly involved in the attack.

At this time, no suspects are in custody, and investigators are actively working to identify those responsible. Officers are urging the public to avoid the area to allow emergency personnel to operate safely and efficiently. The victims are students of Maxwell Heights Secondary School.
