FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A 25-year-old man is dead after being hit by a semi-truck on Highway 99 on Tuesday night in Fresno.
CHP says officers were called out to northbound Highway 99, just south of Clinton Avenue for reports of a man walking in the slow lane.
Officers arrived on scene and found the man had been hit by a Volvo semi-truck.
The man received critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is currently unknown whether drugs and/or alcohol were a factor in this crash.
