Guy On A Bike Was Going Shooting Up Neighborhoods In Rancho Cordova 🤦🏻♂️
RCPD patrol officers recently responded to a report of sounds of possible gunshots in a neighborhood. Several officers happened to be nearby and quickly arrived in the area, when they noticed a subject riding away on a bicycle. Officers attempted to stop and speak to the subject to see if he had any information about the possible gunshots, and/or determine his involvement in the incident, however, the subject fled from the officers as they made contact with him. After a short foot pursuit, the subject was detained in the front yard of a nearby residence.

The subject was found to be on probation and a search of his backpack revealed a unregistered Glock handgun, which he was prohibited from being in possession of. The subject was arrested and transported to the Sacramento County Jail to be booked for several firearms violations.
