20-Year-Old Suspect Captured in Lacey Double Homicide and Drive-By Shooting

Lacey Police have released new details about the arrest of 20-year-old Trequanne Trenelle Wilson-Mason, the suspect accused in the November 14 double murder and drive-by shooting that claimed the lives of teenage brothers Alexander Borgen (16) and Deven Borgen (17).

According to investigators, Wilson-Mason was taken into custody at 1:00 a.m. and is now being held at the Thurston County Jail. He faces probable cause for two counts of First-Degree Murder and two counts of Drive-By Shooting. In addition, he is being detained on a no-bail felony warrant connected to a February 2025 domestic-violence case, in which he allegedly violated a court order.

Police say solving the case required an extensive, multi-agency effort. Lacey investigators worked alongside regional, state, and federal partners to track the suspect, gathering evidence through multiple search warrants, forensic collection, analysis of hours of surveillance footage, and numerous interviews. This coordinated effort ultimately identified Wilson-Mason as the suspect responsible.

Once identified, he was placed under surveillance and followed from Lacey to Wenatchee, Washington, where he checked into a hotel. With support from local Wenatchee law enforcement, Lacey investigators moved in and arrested him without incident.

Officials say the investigation is still active and ongoing, as detectives continue to examine evidence and determine whether additional individuals may have been involved.

The Lacey Police Department publicly thanked all assisting agencies, as well as community members who submitted surveillance footage and tips that helped move the case forward.

Trequanne Trenelle Wilson-Mason of Lacey in connection with the November 14th double murder and drive-by shooting of sixteen year-old Alexander Borgen and seventeen year-old Deven Borgen. As of 1:00AM this morning, the suspect is in custody at the Thurston County Jail on probable cause for two-counts of Murder in the First Degree, and two-counts of Drive-by Shooting. Additionally, he is held on a no-bail felony warrant for violation of a court order related to a February 2025 felony domestic violence case in Lacey.
Lacey investigators, along with regional, state, and federal partners, have worked tirelessly to solve this senseless crime and bring those responsible to justice.
Investigative efforts to include several search warrants, evidence collection, hours of surveillance video analysis, and interviews led to the identification of the suspect. That individual was surveilled from Lacey to a hotel in Wenatchee, Washington, where he was taken into custody by Lacey investigators with assistance from local law enforcement. We continue to aggressively investigate this case.
