Waco, Tx (FOX 44) – A man found shot to death on Colcord Avenue early Monday morning has been identified as 40-year-old Thomas Earl Talton.
Waco police are actively looking for a suspect in the shooting death of Talton who was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 2100 block of Colcord.
Police were called to that location at 1:20 a.m. by a person who said they had seen a man lying on the ground.
Life saving measures taken at the scene were unsuccessful and Talton was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call Waco Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip at 254-753-HELP(4357). If your tip leads to an arrest, you could receive a reward of up to $2,000.
This is the tenth homicide investigation for 2025 in Waco.
