TRAVERSE CITY, Mich,. (WPBN/WGTU) – – Traverse City Police are continuing to investigate a deadly shooting that killed a Traverse City Parking Services employee Saturday night.
The two suspects are Traverse City teens. The 17-year-old and 18-year-old are both in custody.
This is something that we hope never happens.
It started around 10 p.m. Saturday when city police officers were directed to a routine call on East Eighth Street. Dispatchers reported to them that two people were seen stealing from cars.
“That is something that we normally respond to, said Police Chief Matt Richmond. “Making contact with individuals that meet descriptions of possible suspects of crimes like that is something we do on the regular.”
