Family, friends, and community members are encouraged to come together to celebrate Jason’s life, remembering the joy, laughter, and warmth he brought to everyone around him.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the tragic incident occurred at approximately 7:40 p.m. on November 8, 2025, near the intersection of Wilbeam Avenue and Norbridge Avenue.
Responding officers discovered Jason with visible injuries from a vehicle collision believed to have resulted from a road rage confrontation. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but despite medical efforts, Jason succumbed to his injuries.
Following the incident, the suspect involved contacted the CHP’s non-emergency line to report their participation in the event. Officers instructed the individual to return to the scene, where they fully cooperated with law enforcement authorities.
Due to the serious nature of the case, the investigation was later transferred to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO). Detectives from the Crimes Against Persons Unit are now leading the investigation to determine the full circumstances surrounding Jason’s death.
Preliminary findings suggest that a physical altercation occurred between Jason and the suspect, triggered by a road rage incident. The suspect has been taken into custody and remains under investigation.
