DECATUR, Ill. – Decatur police are investigating a shooting Friday night.
It happened near North Illinois Street and East Prairie Avenue around 10 p.m. The crime scene is not far from A1 Grocery and Sharks restaurant.
Several videos and comments on social media showed a large police presence and yellow crime scene tape stretching across the street.
One video showed investigators still on scene Saturday morning.
It’s not clear what happened or if anyone was hurt.
DPD declined to release any information to WAND News in phone calls on Friday night and Saturday morning.
Additional information is expected later Saturday.
