SAN ANTONIO – A major accident involving four vehicles led to the temporary shutdown on the city’s Northwest side.
The incident occurred around 4:16 a.m. near the 11900 block of IH 10 E.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, a Mercedes-Benz struck debris on the road, damaging its tires and forcing the driver to stop. An 18-wheeler then halted behind the Mercedes and was hit by a Ford Sedan, which was trying to avoid a collision with a Nissan.
