Hialeah Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to reports of gunfire at the Lago Grande residential community, located in the 2500–2700 block of West 67th Place, shortly before 3 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found three adult victims suffering from gunshot wounds inside the building. Two of the individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.

A third victim was airlifted via Miami-Dade Fire Rescue helicopter to a nearby hospital. Authorities have not released that individual’s condition, and it remains unclear whether the person was involved in the incident or an unintended victim.

Hialeah Police spokesperson Lt. Eddie Rodriguez confirmed the fatal shootings and said investigators are working to determine what led to the violence. No further information, including the identities of the victims or whether a suspect has been identified, has been released.

“We are still in the very early stages of this investigation,” Rodriguez said from the scene. “We are gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and trying to piece together the events that led up to this shooting.”

The Lago Grande complex, a large gated community near West 28th Avenue, remained blocked off Thursday afternoon as detectives processed the scene.

Residents said they were shocked by the police response but reported hearing no disturbance prior to the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Hialeah Police Department or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
