Authorities have released the names of the two individuals found dead in an apparent murder-suicide at a home in Beverly, Massachusetts, earlier this week.

Police responded to a residence on Colonial Road around 9:40 p.m. on Monday after receiving a call from a concerned family member. Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman and a man with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office.
The deceased were identified as Becky Lynn Center, 58, and John Patrick Nesbitt, 56.
Beverly Police and the Massachusetts State Police are jointly investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Officials noted that the incident appears to be an isolated situation and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The investigation remains active.
